
LACHEN
An exotic and remote destination in north Sikkim situated at a height of 8840 feet. Another location known for its panoramic view of Himalayan range, flora, fauna and tribal village of Lachenpas. Lachen stand on a grassy and bush flat from the periphery of which rise the pine clad mountains with there snowy peaks and black cliffs. Lachen serves as a base for visiting Thangu, Chopta Valley and Gurudongmar Lake.

DOOARS
The whole foothill of the eastern Himalayan region has six National Parks and Wildlife Sanctuaries and is famous among tourist for its Wild life and Tea tourism. It also provides excellent habitat for the Royal Bengal Tiger and other animals like Gaur, Leopard, Sambar, Chital, Hog Deer, Barking deer etc. The Dooars (means door or gateway) valley stretches from River Teesta on the west to River Sankosh on the east, an area coving roughly 130 kilometers by 40 kilometers. The Dooars forms major part of the Jalpaiguri district. In the foothills of Himalaya with wildlife - rich tropical forests, innumerable hill streams cutting across the green carpet of tea gardens, undulating plains, vast grassland serves as the gateway to the entire North - East India, Bhutan, Darjeeling, Kalimpong and Sikkim region.
